ZPacks Atalplex Tent made of the ultra light/super strong material DCF – Dyneema Cuben Fiber. Used on a 2 week thru hike, and one overnight. Canopy, floor, iron wire, zipper, mesh are all in great condition. A careful inspection of the tent did not reveal any damage, just a little dusty. Comes with the original DCF bag, which does have a couple of small abrasion holes (see photo), and a 12 inch carbon fiber extension pole to raise a regular sized trekking pole to the correct height. Excellent Condition Zpacks Altaplex Ultralight Tent, 2020 model. Condition is “Excellent Condition”. I bought this tent for the 2020 hiking season to take on the PCT. I started in early March, before covid, & stayed off trail since then. I babies this tent. No patches, no holes, like new! Always pitched on soft ground with tyvek groundsheet. This tent is absolutely fantastic & will come in original stuff sack. Survived 4 hailstorms, snow, & heavy rain during its time with me. This is my 4th zpacks tarp/tent (also owned a duplex, hexamid pocket tar modified, hexamid pocket tarp with doors). None of them have failed me EVER & I have only gotten smaller shelters over the years. I might actually be a complete fool by giving up such an incredible tent at such a bargain price. This is the Zpacks Altaplex, intended for one large person (I’m 6’4, wide frame and it fit me just fine with plenty of room) OR a couple of average to small people. The vestibule has always been plenty of space for my gear, so you have many options and lots of room with this tent. What you’re getting: the Dyneema Composite Fabric (aka: Cuban Fiber) tent, a Polycro groundsheet/footprint (from Gossamer Gear), 9 Carbon Fiber stakes (from Zpacks), Cuban Fiber stake sack and the Cuban Fiber tent sack. Super ultralight, in all this is about 20oz for everything listed above, this weight includes the seam sealing, lines, line locs, both stuff sacks and stakes!! I had 10 stakes but lost one somewhere in the Adirondacks. This tent is in great condition and lightly used, I’ve had it for 1.5 years. I also just cleaned it inside and out.
