The Sanctum hails from what many consider to be Marmot’s height, when they were making top-shelf expedition equipment. The tents from this era have the signature gold fly and gold/purple canopy. These are comparable with North Face Mountain 24 and VE 25 and Mountain Hardwear Trangos of the same era (early 2000′s). The Sanctum was the most compact, simple, and stable of the lineup, with an integrated vestibule, peak ventilation on both the fly and inner canopy, plenty of storage pocket options, double doors, etc. The 4 pole construction makes the tent a bombshelter when guyed out for weather. 50mph winds, no problem. Heavy snowloads, just another day in the mountains. This tent was made for it. The peak height is a generous 44 inches and the floorspace is over 40 square feet. It feels roomy with plenty of headroom. Ample for two and possible for three. The condition of the fly is excellent with all guy out points and zippers in great shape and the seam tape fully intact. The inner canopy is in excellent condition (ripstop nylon and netting above) and good condition (below; coated nylon bathtub floor) with all inner and outer zippers working well. The seam tape on the floor is just beginning to flake in a few places but is still functional, and the floor has slight tackiness and the regular soiling from use on the outside. Poles are excellent with shock cord still springy. The tent comes with 13 MSR groundhog stakes and 6 snow stakes. We have had this Conway classic for over 12 years and it has been great fun it is in great condition but it is now time for somebody else to enjoy. This trailer tent is a very large 8 man berth it’s trailer size approx 2.1 meters in length x 1020 wide. When the 2 awning are fitted it extends to. 6.3 meters in length x 3.600 wide. I have stored it in my daughter garage when it has not been. (it has not been left standing outside all year round) has you can see in one of the pics. It has been regularly silicone water proofed, which has helped keep the canvas in a great condition. It is 100% waterproof. It has no tears or mildew or bird dropping stains, a few of the peg rubbers might need replacing approx 5. All poles are present. It has a clean two / grill gas burner which is detachable from the trailer there is a solid plate and pan rack which fits on the back of the unit all the clasps are in a good working condition. The 2 x bed foams are in a good clean condition. There are curtain and roof linings. All zips work well. There is a portable flush toilet. 3 x electric panel led lights making it home from home at night really bright an cosy, extension cables included. 1 x touch light. 1 x long hook up cable / one short hook up cable. 1 x electric heater. 1 x small table. 1 x metal stool to get access in to the upper bedrooms. 1 x Trailer cover. It has a very large up front weather tight storage box which stores the pegs, hammer, ground sheets, water butt, toilet. Is in great condition as are the tyres (also the spare wheel is fine). The only thing that could do with replacing is the jockey wheel this got bent when i last moved it but it works fine it has to be lifted when moving. I forgot to take a picture from the outside in the day light before I took it down last time out but there is a picture showing it at night with the lights on. You only need a few more things added to this trailer tent and you are fitted up to go there is still plenty of storage left inside the front box the drawers and.
