Seek Outside 6 Person Tipi Hot Tent Combo W/optional “Half Nest”. What will be in the box: the tipi canopy, the “half liner” I never used this. It’s a second wall for condisation is all.. , the sectioned Center Pole, the SXL Titanium stove setup, the optional Half Nest pictured by it’s self, then in tent. Via Seek Outside, 20+1 stakes (xtra seam sealer and xtra pole nubs for just in case) One of the original stakes is bent, thus the longer Orange one, due to Indiana Limstone! . The tipi color is like a Olive Drab and as far as my knowledge goes, all stuff sacks, seams factory sealed! Are good and fabric has no holes in it. Temps outside were about in the mid/high 30′s, but inside with the stove going at least 75. The Titanium Stove conducts heat well and burns the woods down to a dust.. Speaking of which, I advise using “split” pieces of wood no more than 13 to smaller in length and crisscrossing them as the burn in the stove chamber (a Norwegian method) and the diameter of a half-dollar, but you use the length or style you feel comfortable with.. The stove and pipe set up is easy now there’s been a first burn in it too! Plus I advise watching any and ALL videos on Seek Outside’s website and or YouTube for setting up of the tipi and stove, this will insure very quick and painless setup too. Canopy Description and Fabrics via Seek Outside. The Canopy fabric is a 30 Denier Cordura Spec Ripstop Double Coated Silnylon. Waterproof ratings from 3000 to 4000 MM hydrostatic head. It is an exceptionally strong yet lightweight tent fabric. The tent canopy extends past the tent stake loops creating a sod skirt. This design feature helps seal out drafts and can be flipped up for more ventilation during hotter months! The stake loops are made using 2 triangles of 500D Cordura, one inside and one outside inside, OUTSIDE! A heavy duty and large web loop is sewn between these two. This is the strongest way possible to construct the stake loops. Guyout loops are constructed with the robust method of their stake loops, and are placed two feet above the primary stake loops. They are useful when pitching on sloped ground. The tent features two doors with burly zippers covered by a rain flap to prevent drips during high winds and extend all the way to the cone, which makes entry and exit easy! The Stove Jack is made of high temp fabric and has a flap on it for when used w/o the stove during rainy weather see in main pic.. The tent also has peak vent to allow for adequate ventilation and has netting to keep the bugs out, and has a closable hood sealing out bad weather. Hang loops are provided inside the tent body for hanging lightweight items too! For heavier items, it is possible to setup a guy system including the center pole. Also the is a small loop atop of the cone the apex of the canopy.. so it could be used to hang from a branch of a tree! ? . The Canopy weighs 59oz/3lbs 11oz. Complete weight of canopy, stakes and center pole is 104oz/6lbs 8oz. Stove setup totals at 56oz/3.5 lbs. The included “half nest” weighs 42oz (2.6 lbs) with stuff sack.
