Polycryo is semi-transparent, 0.7 mil thick multi-layer, super ultralight, cross-linked polyolefin film that is amazingly lightweight, weighing only 8 ounces for a 120 X 84 inch sheet with 8 loops. Its perfect for use as a groundsheet under a floor less shelter, like a tarp, to keep your sleeping gear dry on wet ground and for giving you a dry place to sit. Please keep in mind, this is thin plastic and can be used over and over if you take care of them and use clear packaging or duct tape for repairs on puncture and small tears. Note: Since these sheets are made from shrink film they will shrink slightly when exposed to extreme heat. These sheets were tested in the heat of the summer and found that the sheets shrink 1″ to 2″ 3 to 5 cm. In width and up to 5 13 cm. These sheets do not need to be in direct sunlight to shrink, just very hot temperatures. These Tyvek Anchor Loops are self-adhesive and can be attached to the perimeter or corners of your sheet. The loops have a very strong pressure sensitive commercial grade adhesive that sticks on both sides of your ground sheet or tent footprint. Once you attach the loops, they do not come off. They come in a package of 10 loops and are ready to attach and best of all, no tools are required. Each loops measures 1 inch wide by 3 1/2 inches long. 10 Loops weigh only 5 grams.
