The tent performed outstandingly well on thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and Mountain to Sea Trail and is in what I consider good condition. However, please remember that this is a used tent and has been used with hiking for approximately 5,000 miles and 300 uses. I have repaired a small hole in the corner with cuben fiber seam tape. The tent has always been used on a Tyvek ground sheet. Trekking poles are required for setup, and are not included. It takes about 10 minutes to pitch once you become accustomed to the setup.
