VINTAGE CANVAS CABIN / WALL TENT 1953 HUGE 14 L X 10 W X 8 1/2 TALL AMAZING &RARE. This tent is huge. It is 14 feet long x 10 feet wide x 8 1/2 feet tall! One person can set it up in about 15 minutes. It is green with a yellow roof. All of the zippers function perfectly and there are no tears in the canvas. The floor has some stains from use, Dirt ect. There are some pinholes in the netting. This Amazing canvas tent is almost 70 years old so it is not perfect but it has character and it is solid. There is nothing wrong with it. NOTE THE CENTER SUPPORT IS ON THE INSIDE. Most other tents it is on the outside. Tent has all of the original steel poles and two extra center poles. I will include the 15 stakes needed for the base. If you were 7 feet tall your head will not hit the top of the tent in the center! There is a tag on the bottom but all if the details have worn off. Super easy set up. Stake out the 4 corners and the rest was easy. I have marked all of the poles for location and expansion distance. I have spent many hours on the internet trying to find images of anything close to this tent without any luck. Whoever originally owned this tent put there initials and date in the corner. The date is 1953! The tent may be older. This canvas tent is amazing. It looks really cool and has a medieval times vibe to it. If you have any questions just ask. I do not have the bag it came in. Rare Springbar AAA Kirkhams Leisure Port. Color and style no longer made. Always stored dry climate indoors. Looks near newTop has some light stains. Excellent condition with all poles, stakes, and bags. Can be completely enclosed with screen. Comes with instructions, but was hard to do with just one person because this thing is huge!!! One of the photos that shows the instructions shows exactly what it should look like when done properly. Just kept and stored for that perfect camping trip. Vintage Morsan Canvas Tent. As Found Did not try to fully set up. Very clean and little sign of wear. No tears or canvas rot or musty smells. 9ft 5 wide on the sides and by 15 ft long. Pole bags have wear to them. Missing some of the plastic end caps on the poles. Clearly the prior owner was a meticulous camper. Not sure if you will find one in better condition. Windows are triangular shaped. I do not have the manual that goes with it. No pegs other than the ones attached to the bottom. The grommet and loop in the tag pic is indicative of the overall condition. The people I bought this from shared some vintage photos of what it looked liked when they camped in it and I posted them in this listing. Rare VINTAGE 1979 Moss Starlet 2 person 3 season tent Made In Camden Maine USA. An old school work of art. Made in the USA in 1979, this tent has seen minimal though memorable use, sheltering a young and impetuous cyclist on the classic SF to LA Adventure cycling route encountering throngs of deadheads at Big Sur dining at the pancake breakfast and packs of Boy Scouts at Pismo Beach watching the lion seals barking on the beach, not to mention peddling around the Florida Keys and happening in on the opening of a quaint little joint called Cheeseburger in Paradise (yeah that one). But all nostalgia aside, this tent has been lovingly stored and kept mostly free from harm save some fading and a couple of minor mildew spots that you won’t even notice. It is in great condition and remains a lightweight workhorse that hasn’t aged out yet, owing to it’s superior and lasting construction.
