Slant-wall square tent in white 13 ounce cotton canvas water-repellent. Has an attached awning, and door overlap with double ties. All grommets are HAND SEWN super strong and won’t come loose. 10×10 at the base, and 8×8 at the eves. We have made a few minor mods to make these even stronger, including INDESTRUCTABLE grommets. With 3/8in pin in end. There are basically 5 HAND SEWN grommets per side so you can customize it for whatever you want to do. Some people make permanent frames from wood and you would just use bolts or rope to tie the tent to that. Generally it is set up with 3 poles per side, one rope per pole except the corners were it is 2, and 1 rope per awning pole. Poles are usually made from something like 2×3′s (available in 8ft lengths at lumber yards), with a 3/8in rod in the end, cut from 3/8 rod stock also available at home centers. 18 tent pegs or stakes 12 inch landscape spikes work great (all home centers have these). 1 center pole 10ft with 3/8in pin in end You can use wood, or threaded plumbing pipe if you need to take it apart. They sell floor flange plates at home centers to add to the top and bottom of plumbing pipe. Black iron looks better than galvanized. 9-15 ropes 8-11ft long with sliders. Tent is pretty stable before you add the ropes, but looks all saggy, so basically they just hold the tent tight so it looks good. The canvas is water-repellent but not fire-retardant. These tents have no floors but you can make one easy by putting down a poly tarp with an inexpensive painting tarp over it (home center).
