MILITARY M. G. P. T. S. 18′ X 18′ Small Modular General Purpose Tent System MGPTS

The mgpts small 18′x18′ is a pole supported military tent, modular tent that incorporates the newest design and producing technologies to furnish consumers with a multi-purpose weather resistant tent for every surroundings. Ideal for camping, and emergency shelters. The modular gp tent shelter utilizes tensioned fabric to make a structure that directs wind, rain and snowfall masses through the fabric straight to the support system. The small mgpts is 18 feet wide, 18 feet long, weighs 468 lbs and has 324 square feet of floor space. Government says, it can be setup in 27 minutes by 4 people. (it takes my guys about a hour) the small mgpts can be extended indefinitely by adding 18 foot intermediate sections. Tents are in good serviceable condition with light damage. (small pin holes or small tears) i will include 1′ of extra fabric for your repair needs. The tents includes the following. Because of this design, the mgpts distributes loads efficiently with lighter support systems than conventional tents. Mgpts serves as billeting, command and control, unit supply and field services shelters. The modular design consists of one type end, and intermediate sections, one type side pole and one type center pole. Each section has roll up screened door and window with black out cover. They also have stove shield, sandbag flap and vent system located in each section of tent. This is a “y” pole support system. Government pays $4,369.00 for the small and $6,688.00 for the med.
