I bought this Tarra new in April 2017 for my latest expedition. I decided to use a different tent that allowed me to look around and see if any Grizzly bears were in my camp. I’ve experienced very high winds in recent years and this was the main reason I bought the Tarra. As far as withstanding high winds, the Tarra is the best 4 season tent available. I don’t like the Hilleberg Y pegs and I like the V Pegs. So you will find two pole repair sections in the pole bag. I highly recommend the red color for the Tarra.
