The tent performed outstandingly well on thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and Mountain to Sea Trail and is in what I consider good condition. However, please remember that this is a used tent and has been used with hiking for approximately 5,000 miles and 300 uses. I have repaired a small hole in the corner with cuben fiber seam tape. The tent has always been used on a Tyvek ground sheet. Trekking poles are required for setup, and are not included. It takes about 10 minutes to pitch once you become accustomed to the setup. It is also important to note that cuben fiber does not stretch taut like silnylon and other more common tent fabrics, which is simply the nature of the material.
