This is a brand new MSR Elixir 2 Person Backpacking tent with footprint included. In fair weather you can just pack the rainfly and footprint to reduce weight (about 3 lbs, 9 oz). MSR’s parent company Cascade Designs contacted me to say that I could not use images or copy that were their property. So I’ve removed that content. If you’d like to see more images, just do a Google search and you’ll find plenty. The photo is not the actual item for sale, but one from’another website’ however not a retailer. Holding my breath that I won’t be contacted about that one. There are quite a few reviews online but I’m hesitant to list any URLs. However I will summarize some of the reviews: The poles are thicker than most at 9.3mm and the tent’s stability is very good, credit the double-crossing poles and spreader pole over the doors. The walls are almost vertical which makes the interior space extremities more useful. Some details I typed all of this… Didn’t copy/paste from another website. Color: Red & white. Packed weight: 5 lbs, 13 oz. Minimum weight: 4 lbs, 10 oz. Vestibule volume: 15 cu. Floor area: 29 sq. Tent volume: 45 cu. Vestibule area: 17.5 sq. Two 8.75 sq. Interior peak height: 40 in. A front vestibule offers 10 square feet of additional weather-protected external storage space.
