What makes this model unique is that the poles can be left in the rings and can be folded up with the tent thus resulting in a No Hitch Pitch… Kind of like popping up an umbrella. Quick pitch and quick take down! Just stake out the fly and you are set. Whole set up including footprint comes in at about 4.5 pounds… Not ultralight by today’s standards but still light and compact. Rain tight when properly sealed. Great in windy conditions as well as it’s a 3 season tent. Tent can also be set up with just the fly and footprint to create a very light shelter. The tent is very roomy for one and snug for two. Vestibule is perfect for boots and perhaps smaller packs. I didn’t set up vestibule as I ran out of room lol. The entire tent is leak free and in immaculate condition. No tears or rips.
