Rare VINTAGE 1979 Moss Starlet 2 person 3 season tent Made In Camden Maine USA. An old school work of art. Made in the USA in 1979, this tent has seen minimal though memorable use, sheltering a young and impetuous cyclist on the classic SF to LA Adventure cycling route encountering throngs of deadheads at Big Sur dining at the pancake breakfast and packs of Boy Scouts at Pismo Beach watching the lion seals barking on the beach, not to mention peddling around the Florida Keys and happening in on the opening of a quaint little joint called Cheeseburger in Paradise (yeah that one). But all nostalgia aside, this tent has been lovingly stored and kept mostly free from harm save some fading and a couple of minor mildew spots that you won’t even notice. It is in great condition and remains a lightweight workhorse that hasn’t aged out yet, owing to it’s superior and lasting construction. Retro / Vintage Cath Kidston (Eurohike) teepee in pristine condition. This is the one with the cowboy design and it sleeps up to 6 people. We bought it new and used it once for a single night (two adults), so it is in immaculate condition with original bag, pegs etc. It has a sewn in groundsheet and has a single pole so it is erected quickly. I don’t have the space to put the tent up so photos are stock ones – sorry, but the tent has been removed from the bag and checked and is excellent. Happy for collection too.
