Moss Thunderdome GT tent 2-3 person. 4 season, used tent. This is an old tent, the poles will need new shock cord, etc. It does have the old tent smell to it. If your in to refurbishing tents this Would be amazing project. It’s a great tent very clean, all zippers function. Comes with stuff sack, footprint, pole sack, stakes and sack, guy line and main stuff sack.
The rain fly does have a few small dirt spots & the main tent body has a few small repaired holes in the mesh that were sewn & seam sealed to insure they won’t open back up. All can be seen in the pictures.. Just 3 or 4 small repaired netting holes. This tent fabric and waterproofing is in excellent condition with no issues. 3 season, 1-2 person tent, 1 large adult or 2 average size people fit snug. The original tent poles, pole bag, tent bag, stake bag, stakes, tent body & rain fly are all included.
Since it is a used item, it is in good condition overall, although there are some damages and stains. Floor size: 213cm x 267cm. The flysheet and inner tent are starting to show some stickiness and some stains. There are a few pinholes on the inner tent ceiling and mesh, but they have been repaired. Vintage Moss single poll single man lightweight tent. The tent is in near perfect condition. There are no holes or tears anywhere. The original stakes come with the tent.
I bought new in early nineties. Not a lot of use. All poles, bags, stakes included. I just set it up for pics and the original bungee is still good on the poles. Was a little musty when I set up and smell went away after a few minutes. All the zippers work well. There was a rip in the mesh on one side I put tear aid on. There is a hole in the tent bag. No other holes that I can find. This is a four season tent.
1979/1980 Vintage Bill Moss design Eave II. See original ad for specs. Very spacious, very easy setup and lightweight design. Arc dome for 4 season stability. Truly a masterpiece of design. Tent has no tears and no delamination or peeling. It could use a hand wash as there is some dirt on floor and it has a musty smell from the waterproofing, but nothing a bath and air dry wouldn’t handle. Tent has survived 40 years in Montana with barely a blemish and is ready for its next adventure.
