Is the setup easy enough for a beginner? A : The first time set-up took about 30 minutes. It is not a bad set up, but if you have had an instant tent it seem a lot longer. A beginner can set the tent up but be prepared for a kind of lengthy time. Plus make sure you have enough room and that you get longer tent spikes in case the ground it soft. Q : Do all the windows zip up, or just some of them? A : Yep, the window all zip. It closes up pretty well. Summer in CA so no rain. Do I need a mat or tarp? Stakes or poles or anything?
