Tarp / ground sheet/ picnic blanket /waterproof wrap. Useful for a multitude of tasks. Perfect for solo trips with of without a bivy or as a addition to a colder weather setups and has a multitude of uses around camp. 8oz/y2 wet waxed canvas with 6x 2.8mm thick veg tan leather tie outs and pure hand peened copper rivets. Leather tie out reinforcements are veg tan goat hide. Tie-outs are in each corner plus halfway along long side. 270cm (9′) x 145cm (4’9) 1. British made waxed canvas fabric, rewaxing is possible with an appropriate wax product but this shouldn’t be needed for years unless used as a ground cloth on porous surface (ie wax will get rubbed off and absorbed). There’s no waterproof layer and no PFCs, the wax is a by product of petroleum distillation. Waxed canvas should also handle the odd spark from the fire easily without damage but caution should still be used around a fire or heat source.
