I’ve only set this up inside my house (It barely fit) so I can’t say anything about waterproofing or wind, but I can say that it sets up easy and comes down even easier. Just spread it out first and be careful folding it out, It has to fold out like spider legs or the hinges can get tangled. If you pull the wrong way you could break the hinges and ruin the tent, Something must have been folded wrong when I got it because it was hard to open the first time. After I put it away once it folded out fine and I didn’t have any issues. This tent is HUGE and was super easy and quick to put up and take down. This was the easiest tent ever to set up. Plenty of room for 5 with three air mattresses. I fit 4-5 cots around the edges and plenty of room in the middle to move around and play games if the weather is bad. Easy to set up by myself and put away by myself. I thought it would be impossible to get it back in the bag, but it fit no problem. The only down side I saw is that if it’s windy, the tent has trouble staying up, so you just need to be cognizant of this and use something like a car to block the wind or stake it down well. This tent was very easy to assemble and take down. My husband did the set up with my daughter so wasn’t too hard to figure out, just time consuming to be done right. The tent got VERY hot during the day. When it rained, not a drop inside. We did spray this tent with water proofing before we used it.
