The floor section is atteched to the tent with a zipper. The floor can be attached and remove with the help of a zipper. The zipper is placed a bit above ground level, preventing ice to collect on the zipper. It also prevents moisture leaking into the tent when it rains. The material of the outer awning «Bereg» UP-2 mini is made of waterproof high-tech Oxford fabric 300 PU 4000. The inner awning is made from of Oxford fabric 210 PU 2000. Between the two layer awnings, a pocket of air is created, which reduces the amount of condensation. Condensation builds up in all tents, due to the temperature difference inside and outside of the tent. On a two-layer tent like the UP-2 Mini, the condensation will build up only on the outer layer. The double walls also keeps the tent warm in cold weather. All the seams on the external tent awning are sealed with sealing tape, preventing water or melting snow to seep through the seams. The UP-2 Mini has multi-layer windows. A protective layer of the outer awning with additional support for ventilation, Windows with Velcro around the perimeter, made of transparent PVC, which can withstand temperatures from + 40 to -50 degrees Celsius. Anti-mosquito layer with zipper; and an inner layer with zipper. At the bottom outside of the tent is a protective “skirt”. The skirt can be staked out with pegs preventing wind from blowing rain and snow into the tent. Staking out the skirt also ads stbility to the tent, especially for high wind conditions. The tent has multiple loops for guylines. One set of loops are attached to the frame itself and another set of loops are attached to the outer awning between the tent frame sections. Staking out the tent with all guylines makes the tent extremely resistant to high winds and heavy snow loads.
