Is this eligible for a return? Proper care is required to ensure a long life for the tent. What is my cover tears or wears out after using the tent? How long is the “lifetime” of a tent? How long should it last? If this is well taken care of and stored out of the sun when not in use it should last you for many years. If you leave the tent on your vehicle year round it will wear out much quicker because of the usage and sun exposure. We recommend storing the tent when not in use. Be sure it is completely dry and store in a cool, dry area out of the sun and off the ground. With proper care a roof top tent should easily last for 10 years or more.
