Thanks to its geodesic dome construction with ten crossing points THE CAVE is extremely stable and thanks to the high-quality materials it is also weatherproof as well as durable. The inflatable Diamond Grid (IDG) not only guarantees stability, but also ensures an intuitive and easy set-up of THE CAVE so that you can get the most out of your trip. It supports the waterproof ripstop polyester Flysheet and ripstop nylon inner tent with multiple storage pockets – perfect for storing smaller items. ENTRANCE AND VENTILATION – Five closable ventilation points and the entrance offer maximum flexibility. ROOF DESIGN – The centre of the tent becomes an additional support point. This enables the formation of a star-shaped roof. The result is a point-symmetrical pitch with five drains for rain. STORAGE – Several sewn-in pockets inside the tent provide space for smaller and larger items. A vestibule at the entrance offers space for cooking utensils or for your shoes. A removable compartment under the roof provides additional storage space and your torch can be placed inside for diffused light. Thanks to a new variation of our Inflatable Diamond Grid (IDG), Heimplant were able to be more efficient with the struts of the airframe. This results in a stable tent with less weight. The Flysheet, which normally reaches the ground, can be adjusted in height using elastic hooks. In conjunction with additional closable top vents can thus maximize air circulation through the chimney effect. 40D High Tenacity Polyester with Double Ripstop has a higher tensile strength than regular polyester yarns. Individual chambers provide emergency stability in the event of a failure and allow for easy repair or replacement of parts of the inflatable diamond mesh (IDG).
